John, you do nice work here at BIG HOLLYWOOD, but you're mischaracterizing Larry David. Repeated viewings of CURB offer clear proof that Larry enjoys shitting on EVERYONE's sacred cows. The cliche of "equal-opportunity offender" definitely applies to Larry's comedy. Larry is cut from a completely different cloth than his leftist Hollywood friends.

Compare Larry, for instance, to such dullards as David Cross, Janeane Garafolo, et al. Those mundane and bland laff-makers operate under a bullshit veneer of "edginess." Under closer inspection, though, it becomes clear: they only have fun at the expense of easy targets (e.g. Mormons). That's shooting cetaceans in a barrel. Easy humor, intellectual laziness. The same kind of intellectual short-cut that Bill Maher exploits to great effect (e.g. "Bush is stupid!! Begin laughing hysterically now!!!")

Larry David is much, much smarter than those braying tools. Give him another chance. It's the Christian thing to do.
