Well, this is reverse psychology in the works... but maybe a hint the winner is from the South? Notice the postcard "TEXAS" with the Oil Well picture.....
The winner most if not always will receive a phone call before time from someone regarding the sweeps and usually will be asked what the schedule will be for the " potential winner". Paperwork is involved and will need to be notarized before presenting the prize.Then on that day they ambush the winner.
The barrell or "Hopper" does not indicate who and or what entry the winner was selected from. This is simply used to select the BIN number.... If the BIN falls on the Mail In Entries then they walk over to the Bin and dump all mail out and select from the pile (blindfolded of course). If the ball falls on the virtual bin then they go over to a computer that is randomly shuffling all entries received associated with the bin number that was selected, once the space bar is hit the system stops shuffling the names then the winner's name is displayed
We have a scheduled vacation trip to NYC/ Brooklyn in December of this year to celebrate Christmas early... hotel and flight are already booked. How sweet would it be if we can have the luxury of canceling the hotel accommodations to break in the Urban Oasis home B)
That's hilarious... but you hit the nail on the head with that one.... dreams via HGTV do not require you to give your hard earned cash to the state... unless you win of course.
I for one have been planning to relocate from Houston to NYC area within the last quarter or the first of 2011. If my family is chosen to be the lucky winners of this pad in Manhattan... I wont even need to find another JOB, my employer's headquarters is literally around the corner from there, but on a serious note good luck to all and keep the comments positive and remember you shall give to receive.
