Kevin - you MUST make your points perfectly clear to these young idiots by speaking firmly ad not apologizing for anything in American History. Give them scenarios to discuss and act out - make them take both sides of issue and it will quickly penetrate their minds and black heads that America is the great country in the world. Show them what is going on in Washington on both sides and how our Constitution, if we demand it, has a means for dealing with the greed, corruption that is going on. And back during revolutionary America it wasn't much different! GOOD LUCK and keep on teaching!

Hey Floyd - thanks for posting this. Now do one about Romney and Perry - the comparison would be great for those who listen too much to pundits and who don't do their own research!

Perry is NOT a conservative -especially fiscally! He is for BIG SPENDING and allowing Americans to pay taxes for illegals to get a college education. He has his good points (gun supporter) but he also has his problems! Newt is the better choice.

NO WALKER - what you don't get is that AMERICANS have to pay OUT OF STATE tuition while MEXICANS AND OTHER ILLEGALS get IN STATE TUITION - Get the word, ILLEGALS?? And we do pay for their education through our taxes! We support and pay for education in TEXAS through our taxes. Understand?

You might consider sending this comment to Herman Cain - I like him also but think Newt would make a good Pres with Cain behind him to come up. I had favored Perry but he is looking more and more like he needs to be a VP candidate also - he needs seasoning.

This financial mess will be improved if YOU and YOUR FRIENDS and relatives vote to get rid of the current members of congress who are at fault - they are letting Obama get away with all kinds of things and not standing up for us!! I voted against Bennett in CO and will vote against UDALL in CO also. Lamborn who is our state rep is a good guy - he is the most conservative member of the house. Don't you wish you had him where you live?

Sean - which candidate do you support? Please don't tell me Ron Paul as he is as big a flip flopper as Romney!

Consider NEWT and CAIN as a combo over Perry and Romney both of whom are suspect in their beliefs about American values.

Also consider that Tuition for Illegals is a law in other states including California, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin. Those states also have citizens who allow Illegal residents to qualify for in-state tuition. Another dozen states have passed specific laws refusing in-state tuition for illegal immigrants as is their right.

While I prefer Perry over Romney, unless he gets his act together he won't beat Herman and Newt. The latter is the most educated of the bunch when it comes to Washington and how to get things done. Cain would be a good VP and could learn on the job from Newt and then take over and keep Washington in conservatve hands for at least 24 years - wouldn't that be great?

No we don't have a moral obligation Ross - we have the right but not the duty when a gun is involved. If you shoot someone who is holding a gun on a cashier, for example, and you cause the shooter to shoot the cashier, YOU are responsible for that persons death - at least in CO. You are looking at 100,000 minimum to defend yourself in criminal court as well as civil court. If you want to put YOUR family and YOURSELF at that risk, then go for it. And hope that if you are charged for the shooting, that gunners are on your jury!

Now as far as yourself - you DO have the moral responsibility to protect yourself and your loved ones and if you can, a third person but you had better be careful in your decision to do so as in another scenario if you shoot someone holding a gun and it turns out that gun is a toy - you again will be prosecuted.
