Cruz is a fighter. He is re-engergizing the conservative base after the demoralizing loss in 2012 and the even more demoralizing effort by the RINO's to pass amnesty. Wehner is nothing.

EITC increases as poor people have more kids? Talk about a perverse incentive.

I am not seeing a national security objective for staying in a failed Islamic state. It isn't as if terrorists planners don't have thousands of other places to conduct their activities including even the US itself. Afghanistan will be no better off once we leave no matter if we leave tomorrow or 10 years from now. You can't build a nation in a hellhole that lacks the foundation it needs to succeed.

Yeah, this a great reminder that Southern voters don't know what the hell they are talking about. Their support for Huckabee got us McCain last time out and now they are trying to demolish the entire process by supporting a guaranteed general election loser like Santorum.

Still can't get my head around the fact he is gone. The void is already huge. I sure as hell don't see anyone capable of filling it right now.

Actually Romney won Republicans by a larger margin. A good 6% of Santorum's votes came from Democrats trying to derail Romney. Obama and Co. fear Romney, not Santorum.

There will not be a brokered convention or a 3rd party if Republicans lose in the fall. Mitt would never agree to be VP. This article fails on so many levels it isn't worth commenting on further.

No, because people can drink in moderation and be of no harm to anyone. The only reason to take drugs is to get bombed.

Alcohol is legal and this fine. You can have a drink or 2 and not be intoxicated. The sole purpose of hard drugs is to get wasted. Even with alcohol we are spending billions per year dealing with the social problems that result. Making drugs legal would expand the size of the problem and we would be funneling just as much or more money toward dealing with the issue in different ways.
