If this is such a good bill, why did it take a year and closed door, vote buying, strong armed deals to get even Democrats to vote for it?

You have to have a photo ID to cash a check, verification to use your credit card, buy liquor or tobacco, and a photo ID to get in Eugene Green's (D-TX) town hall meetings on health care, but not to prove you are a Indiana legal resident to vote. What will they do when an ID is required to get government health care?!

He has a new plan for raising government money he just announced last Saturday. You can receive your tax refund as a government savings bond! Yippee! How long before this becomes mandatory?

America has about 306 million legal residents. About 30 million don't have health insurance. 1/3 of them are illegally here. 1/3 of them are young people who choose not to spend their money on health insurance and 1/3 simply cant afford it. Why do 296 million people have to give up their health insurance for 10 million that can't afford it?

Rep Dan Heller introduced into the House Ways and Means Committee an amendment that would require proof of citizenship before receiving tax payer funded health care. It was voted down in committee. So no the house bill doesn’t say “ illegal immigrants will be insured” but it does nothing to stop them or discourage them from taking advantage of the system.
