I think you meant last year with DW and not 2007...as in 2007 he batted 310/434/544 with RISP

in the end...DW does have to do a better job there...both of you are right...let hope we can get hiim hot and let s also see if reyes can do something, because he has been the biggest disappointment in the lineup so far

i would disagree...first DW is the best hitter as far as average and obp and that is what you want in your third hitter and if beltran in doing so well at #5 with no protection and wright is struggling with protection then dont you think i makes more sense to keep wright with protection and get him out of his funk... oh and by the way he's still batting over 300 with a 400 obp

now i know he had a horrible year for us last year and i dont expect him to be the castillo of 6-7 years ago....but the guy has had 1 bad year in teh last 11 and that was last year and he was hurt....he has not been an injury prone player over his career...he is 32 not 37...so he still can have a couple of good years left...he is in better shape this year as well...oh and in a small sample he is batting 370 with a 455 obp
