I should've said this but by preventative I was more so referring to other diseases/ailments such as cancer, diabetes, etc. While I'm hopeful for a cure for HIV/AIDS, I wouldn't depend on it coming from the mainstream medical industry. And trust that though the discovery was in the Thailand, there's always some U.S. benefactor waiting to silently be praised behind the scene...

I just don't trust these companies. The same things that are supposed to help us are killing us... Or they help for a while and eventually you die from something else. I watched a friend of mine, 26 yrs old, die from the effects of chemotherapy... He didn't die from the radiation & chemo, he died from lung failure BECAUSE of the chemo & radiation...

And he's not alone... there are millions of people putting their trust in these Dr's and medicines daily, and their being led astray because they simply don't know any better.

But I guess I'll shut up cuz I don't really have a solution, lol.

Personally, I don't believe shit these pharmaceutical companies say... For one reason and one reason alone do they create these vaccines, medicines, etc. MONEY!

When I read this article (http://tinyurl.com/6r7amq) about a company injecting a bird flu "vaccine" into homeless men in Poland, who eventually died, I gave up...

If the FDA were that concerned about AIDS, cancer, etc, they would first look to preventative medicines, foods, homeopathy, etc before they look towards artificial "band-aids" as I call the hundreds of medicines they create yearly... While they have some good effect, our bodies simply can't handle these "modern miracles" and after a while, our bodies fight back and ultimately destruct... These vaccines & medicines only cover the surface, but they usually don't get to the root of the problem...

So to answer the question... I won't believe this until I see proof... And even then, I'll wait until the side effects kick in... If I take this shot to prevent myself from getting aids and I in turn develop a brain tumor, I'll pass. I'll just keep on using condoms...

While I get his premise, he DEFINITELY went overboard. How do you condemn someone for using a word you disapprove by using words that are widely & generally disapproved. Of course the young man would be standoffish being humiliated in front of his peers.

However, I understand the teacher's anger cuz some of these kids DEFINITELY wanna make you Joe Clark dat ass. I remember my mother was a substitute teacher for a while and a lil boy called her a bitch. Now, anyone that knows my mom knows bitch is an adjective she will whoop ass over.

Anywho, during recess, while he was alone on the playground, she went over to him, grabbed him by the collar, leaned down and whispered in his ear, "If you EVER call me a bitch again, I will kick your little ass." lol.

While that could've gotten her in a world of trouble, it got her respect from that child. From that point on, he smiled and spoke to her EVERY chance he got. So I guess my point is, sometimes ya gotta do extraordinary things to get results....

P.S. The kid wound up telling his parents, and they sent my mom a card & flowers. LOL.
