Clearly this poor woman overstepped the mark of muslim propriety by asking for a divorce.
Yet another violent murder and they still ask for "respect".
And who knows what heinous crimes (in his jaundiced eye) she was guilty of before.
The irony is that his stated aim was to create a commonality and cultural "reach out"with his TV station.
I fear his credibility has suffered a tiny setback.

Haven't spoken Dutch for 30yrs but appreciate your dark view.
The ROP is a very black comedy combined with an ongoing surrealistic nightmare.

Why are ther no terrorist attacks there when to an orthodox muslim the place is a cesspit of depravity?

What he is saying(as far as I can fathom)is that Islam has some strange beauty that only esotericists such as himself have the knowledge to appreciate and the hoi-polloi such as ourselves can't.
He seems to think that the great debate about"women drivers" signals a sea change in that benighted cesspool of stupidity known as the KSA.
His concept of "proof"is not the same as you and Iwould accept.
