Acorn hung itself with its own rope -- James and Andrew merely provided the video and the distribution vehicle that exposed a criminal organization using taxpayer funds.

Now it's Congressman Etheridge's turn. If you're famous and you act like a jerk, SOMEONE will be there to film it.

Here's an idea: let's clean jerks like this out of Congress so they can stop funding criminal organizations that use taxpayer funds? Oh -- and let's get it on film!

SilentMovie -- last I saw, Fox had the finale available on the web; you've still got a chance to see it in its entirety.

We should all raise a glass to Kiefer Sutherland for keeping his political views to himself and allowing us to enjoy his performance without the baggage that comes with Hollywood blather. (My son thinks I'm being snarky, but I'm not -- I'm serious. The character and the show would have suffered from it.)

It always makes me laugh how condescending NY and LA are. After experiencing the vapidness of both cities, I can safely say I'd give up body parts to move back to the small college town in Missouri where I grew up (and couldn't wait to leave so I could make it in the big city. Juvenile, I know, and I've been paying for it for years.)

Make Room for Daddy -- Best. Show. Ever.

I vaguely remember seeing what must have been reruns of this show during the late '60's when I was tiny, but really found it on Nick at Nite when I was in college. My three roommates and I would say no to dates that conflicted with Make Room for Daddy -- no man could compete with Danny Thomas for our affections. It was funny and honest and almost always came to a touching end that was neither syrupy nor cynical.

I always feel so bad for convicts and their plight -- just imagine getting moved. Prison must be awful. I would sure hate to be a prisoner.

Guess I won't break the law next time the opportunity to steal or kidnap or murder presents itself ...

Why do we home school? Could it be because across America, children can't read or do the most basic math or logic problems, but, boy, they sure can re-cycle! Is there so much time on our hands that we can spend all of it "tilting at windmills" (or windfarms)? Heaven help us. Maybe those who die at the hand of Islam are the lucky ones -- the rest of us have to witness the rapid decline of western civilization at the hand of the College Marxists...
