I still can't get over that awesome Activision packaging. I love you, Jackson and Doc. I love you so hard.

A very happy, sincere, warm n' fuzzy birthday to Pink Raygun! And, honestly, that tweet was enough to make me fan myself. (Imagine him saying it in that voice. Yeah? YEAH.)

In reference to #2, I think, narrative-wise, they were trying to show how Daniel changed the future by affecting something in the past in that moment? True, it wasn't elegant, and I could be completely off-base, but that's the impression I was left with.

The husband tried to make the argument that Dualla was the obvious choice because she has so often represented the hope and drive of the Fleet but I wasn't buying it. Could Dee be a doormat? Yes. She could. But what a great moment to allow her the chance to step up and still represent that hope and drive. Instead we use her as a prop to illustrate how devastated everyone is over Earth - WHICH WAS ALREADY PRETTY OBVIOUS, THANKS.

BSG, I kinda hate you right now.

Dr. Girlfriend/Dr. Mrs. The Monarch holds a hallowed place in my personal geek canon. And that fact she's voiced by Doc - who dons the signature lavender duds in the special features on the season one DVD set - makes me love them both all the more.

"Stop wailing on my junk" is probably in the top 10 of most quoted Venture lines in my house. (Number one being, "My name is Dr. Henry Killinger and this is my magic murder bag.")

Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick, the creative duo behind the greatest animated show on television, The Venture Brothers. Seth MacFarlane can SUCK IT.
