this is spectacular. the overwhelming support of lowering the legal age BACK to 18 that is. really. i'm 57 and the hypocracy of "them" is appalling. when i was 18 the legal age was 19. until July of the following year when it changed to 18. I could vote for President etc when i was 18, i could have been (but thankfully was not) drafted when i was 18, but even after the law was lowered to 19, couldn't legally buy a beer. yes, it's true that irresponsible alcohol use causes problems. i know people my own age whose behavior could be the reason tht the drinking age should be 65. or 90. so ... the legal age should be 18 and the responsibilities of an adult should be 18 as well. and young people should be educated as to what those responsibilities are.
seriously? this guy and his ilk are a disease. Christian Taliban? who needs that?
so, Terry is "double dipping" into your pockets. what say you, concerned concervatives who voted for this loser?
a caricature is supposed to exaggerate a person's physical characteristics, not make them up.
might we call Breitbart- "not so bright Bart" instead?
of course he belongs with the likes of Glen Dreck and Caribou Barbie.
let them wallow in their bigotry and ignorance, eventually it will smother them.
well said indeed. i suppose i saw Hodges and Santo both play when my folks took me to a Cubs Dodgers game at Wrigley in 1963 but i was too young to remember anything except that Don Drysdale pitched and the Dodgers won. over the years as my Cub fanness grew i came to appreciate Santo as an announcer and all time great Cub fan. He was much more than that i understand. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
Last weekend i was elated; this Saturday i'm relieved, barely. Iowa's next opponant, Northwestern, is in the process of blowing a 21 point lead. Despite a 7 point lead at the moment they are poised to become JoPa's 400th victim. But, just like the Hoosiers, the Wildcats are NOT cupcakes. The Hawkeyes have to be better prepared next weekend. It's the warm up game for oHIo St. for that game Iowa needs to be RED HOT!
GO HAWKS!
and apparently absence makes the memory fade. anyone who thinks Iowa's "good ol' days" were during Bumstead's previous tenure must have been asleep the whole time. I wasn't asleep, I was there. it was awful. Good luck to my native state and Go Hawks.
PS to those who actually voted for this putz , you will learn the meaning of the word "regret."
yep. and if proven guilty of making employees work in unsafe conditions i hope they stay "out of business." punitive fines are just what they sound like, punishment. you can't send a company to jail so you punish them by taking away their god, money.
a classic American hero.
and i believe CR64 means "selfless."
