What happened to putting the team in the best position to win? The Brewers are throwing a righty and we are taking two lefties out of out line-up and replacing them with righties and bothe lefties are hitting over .350. The METS OFFENSE IS PUTTING ME TO SLEEP TODAY.

We have to give him some slack and let him play, but we have to also be honest. His defense is horrible so far. Dropped fly ball. Then no way should the runner have been able to go to 2nd yesterday if he was in position, the bad throw to David and the lone run off Ollie is all on him too with that crazy and weak throw to reyes that Reyes was not expecting.

I would rather use Figgy for one or two starts than Niese right now. Or give the start to Parnell or Stokes and throw Figgy in the BP. Though keeping the BP intact and not messing with it might be best
Absolutely no reason to have Pelfrey start this weekend. I would say let him skip two starts, DL him retroactively and see if he can't get this behind him. I would be very cautious. Not sure about bringing up Niese though, he has been throwing BP in AAA. I would rather use Stokes or Parnell for a spot start and then call up someone to take their spot in the bullpen. Let's leave Niese alone for a few months and see if he can continue his development.
We really need another arm as I think we are all underwhelmed by our rotation
