Yeah great job to everyone who participated. It's an amazing feat in two respects: 1) that you guys built and completed an app in around 12 hours, and 2) the webOS community has this many people that will come together like this. I wished I could have helped, but school starts tomorrow, and, well let's just say I wasn't too diligent about my summer work ;). But great job to everybody!

Actually, Travis, the Task Completion offered by Apple is meant more for uploading pictures to Flickr and things of that nature. It is not for the loading of apps. While the name might suggest the ability for 3rd Party apps the utilize the processor while not in the foreground, that is not the case.

Hi marc. I just looked into the issue and found nothing wrong with our feeds. The link up top and the link in our bottom bar should take you to our Feed Burner page. From there you should be able to subscribe using many applications. Could you please elaborate on what happened to you specifically so we can help you sort it out?

Yes that's true. Clearwire has stated if need be they can change their infrastructure and go LTE. However what I think you're missing is the networks are completely separate from each other. Different spectrums and different frequencies. Right now, the only reason Sprint (and once other companies get their 4G networks up) is putting a 3G radio in to the EVO 4G is because there isn't always going to be 4G coverage. Otherwise the 3G network isn't going to be accessed unless for phone calls on the 1xRTT network, but that's getting into an entirely different discussion about how networks work on a basic level.

Hey Matt, nice to see you. Just to clarify some statements from your previous comment, the 4G WiMax network sprint is implementing (with Clearwire) has nothing to do with their existing 3G CDMA network. They are on two completely different spectrums and are co-existing peacefully in many cities right now.

OK, and just wondering, why did you post this on a 3 month old article when you've obviously read an article on this website pertaining to the iPad?

Actually it was Jake who wrote this article, but on thanks from both of us. And your link is broken. I'll try to see if I can fix it and go over to your site.

Actually I think the processor is the most interesting thing to come out of this whole tablet debacle. Having a 1Ghz ARM processor (like Snapdragon) is a very nice thing to have, and while they limit its capabilities with the modified iPhone 3.2 software, it seems to be very efficient. I\'m not saying that Apple is going to switch back to PowerPC form Intel, because that would be a bad move, but it will be interesting to see in what other ways PA Semi will help Apple with its future products.

Actually I tried to and it says we are not eligible. Also we should probably keep these conversations off of the comments. :)
