I use Lightscribe. I don't burn that many disks anymore, and I like the clean lettering. I don't mind spending the time and effort. Example: My son's HS graduation video. Simple lettering looks professional, relatives get the disk they need and know what it is. Of course, I have 20 TBs of storage on my WHS now, so really, who needs disks for storage?

I spent 20 years and 6 days in the Army and it is common to be unarmed in dangerous situations. I had two soldiers from my unit in Panama AKed on the highway by Panamanians, died, and we still were not issued ammunition. The Colonel, however, had ammo and so did his driver. At that point we all stole ammo from the rifle range, every soldier had a hidden and illegal full magazine, not by order, but by common sense. If we were caught by an officer we would have been punished. I don't know how the Corps operates, but the Army typically disarms it's soldiers whenever possible.
I can't even understand how I supported this clown back in the early 1980's when the Daley clan was out of power. His father wiould disown him if he heard this crap. My whole adult life that I lived in Chicago I carried a pistol, not becasue I loved guns, but because I loved life. I left in the 1980's and I am glad I never went back. I can't imagine living in Chicago without a firearm. It would be like living in Kabal unarmed. It would just be a matter of time until you are a victim.
As Chicago is 'gun-free' and more blacks are dying there than Iraq, let's pull out of Chicago 1st and Iraq second.
