Hey Frank, I'm so sorry for not seeing this earlier and lending you my support. I'm so happy to hear that your daughter is coming home. Being surrounded by family and those we love always makes a small difference with the morale and all. I can't imagine what you and your family must have gone through this last week. I'm sure it took all the strength, courage and prayers that you had and it's nice to know that your community of friends here stood by you along the way. Just goes to show that the friendships we've made online are as real and genuine as they come. I wish Heather nothing but health, love and happiness. Samar, This is one of those posts that I wish I had written. That's how amazing I think this piece here is! It's genuine and an absolute pleasure to read. Loved it! Besides being from Pakistan (as I'm Lebanese) I can pretty much relate to most of it. The first 4 points you made I repeat day in and day out - whether in my blog posts, in my comments or elsewhere. The last one - I had to have people remind me that I was. You see much like you I used to charge ridiculous rates for a ridiculous amount of time and hard work. I have learned otherwise. As to not being able to please everyone - well, wouldn't it be nice if we could eh? But I bet we'd die of exhaustion if we tried. I write for myself first. But I know my audience and I generally make sure that they too will enjoy reading my articles or at least get something out of them. They're not all revolutionary and meaningful - but they're all written using my voice and personality, my style, my tone... I write the way I talk - and that's part of what keeps people coming back for they can relate to a human. As to life is short - I'm Lebanese - let's just leave it at that lol ;). Needless to say that I could go on, but alas...I've already left you with a small eBook lol. It's great of you to open up here and share a great part of yourself with your readers. I'm glad I had the chance to read this wonderful piece. Good on you for practicing what you preach! Good mottos to live by. Wishing you continued success. Enjoy your weekend. Cheers

Hi Mars, Thanks for your comment - much appreciated. I'm happy you enjoyed reading the piece :). As you said, once in a while - to add personality as well as show your simple and human side - tweeting some of those things is totally cool. I was referring more to those people that tweet nothing else but stuff like that - and merely implying that I (personally) would not really be interested in always reading and conversing in that way on Twitter. It's funny that you mention Disqus - I've actually been thinking of doing that for quite some time now. It seems to be the popular choice out there. Will look into it again :). Hehe ;)! Scary indeed but somehow many of them do have a bit of truth to them (to a certain extent). However, the points I made are not so much of an army (although an interesting way to look at it) but rather a reminder or a heads up for men - just a few things for them to consider beforehand. But then again, although they may think twice by considering them, I doubt they're enough to keep them from committing the sin ;). Please note, that by no means am I implying that every man cheats; I'm simply stating that for those who want to or are thinking about it - to at least consider the extra character perks that women come with lol :).

To answer your questions Anthony: As I said in paragraph 3 - cheating works both ways; women certainly do it too - but in this particular article, I chose to only cover the one side. But feel free to contribute your own "Cheat sheet" for women :) I as well as many, would definitely be interested to see it.

Not sure about how great of "cheat detectives" men are, except for the occasional Sherlock Holmes lol. And as I mentioned in #11 - women are just better at being discreet. I hate to generalize but I believe it's true (in most cases). Also, a woman - at least one that is married - will think a thousand times before she actually goes through with the act. Again, I don't mean to generalize but I speak from what I know, see and hear - and that's what I'm basing my opinion on.
Thanks a lot for your comment Anthony. You never know, maybe I'll decide to take on the other side in different post ;). I'm sure there are a few points or traits that both sexes share.

Hey Josh - thanks a lot:) They definitely come in handy sometimes plus I've learned a bunch of random stuff - though I don't know if I'd dare go as far as take my floors apart - I'd end up with one big mess - I haven't reached the status of "DIY expert" yet lol:)! But WOW - good for you - impressive!

As you said there are a ton of these sites out there - like howcast.com, instructables.com (for tech), expertvillage.com, sutree.com...but I just included the ones I'm most familiar with. Either way, I'm glad you liked the post. Thanks for your feedback:).
