Cute can be classy if it is done in moderation. It also depend upon which kind of room you are decorating. If it is a child's room, then cute can be more dominant. However, having matching cuddly kittens everywhere is grotesque. Frills and fun accent items, kept at a minimum, keep cute from becoming creepy and cluttered.
