I had a professor who said expressly that destroying the relationship and hold of parents over their kids and of traditional American mythological thinking was her primary duty as a teacher.
That is why I became a teacher, to counter people like her.

So obviously you don't know anything about John Wayne or his actual life, and seem to have ignored what A WOMAN in the story said about how awesome he was.
How about when he stood up and single-handedly smacked down the communist takeover of the screen actors guild. I bet to you that was a sad day.

Sadly though, your description of our society is partly accurate. If you read magazines, watch TV, or listen to pukes like you you would think that real men and the male American hero are actually gone.

But they are not. They are just busy riding bulls, farming the land, saving people from fires, and generally not playing your bs game.

So go to college, sit in your lib psych professors class and tell stories to yourselves, and cry over your feelings, I'm about to go watch a John Wayne marathon.
