Phil - Try watching a Beany and Cecil cartoon sometime. The things Bob Clampett got away with when he made these cartoons are astounding. These were hilarious cartoons loaded with double meanings. There are plenty of them on YouTube.
What a stupid and worthless reply. Considering the content of your posts you'd do better to keep your mouth shut and hence proving your idiocy. Every time you post you make a fool of yourself.
Love your rating though.
Children's entertainment has been in the crapper since the early seventies when someone decided the Road Runner and Bugs Bunny cartoons were too violent. This Goebbels type propaganda disguised as a kids movie just continues the forty-year old trend.
Hopefully even the nitwit suits in Hollywood learn something from Act Of Valor and this becomes a trend. I'm so sick of seeing pukes such as Brian DePalma and Oliver Stone taking cheap shots at the American Military in the form of their so-called "art" I could scream.
Colonel Jessup had it so right.
Yes I did - in a class B fast-pitch softball league here in San Pedro in 1974 and again in 1979. I had a pretty good riser but was way to wild to be any good. I actually pitched for a bar named Myra's Tavern when I was too young to go in and legally have a beer. I got my suds anyway after the games while sitting on the bench. Those were the days.
Heinlein is a science fiction GOD.
A big ol' thumbs down to your deep and insightful post Ron.
Nice quote Noncompus. I agree.
Pacifism defeated the Nazis - NO
Pacifism defeated the Soviets - NO
Pacifism defeated the British in the Revolutionary War - NO
Pacifism defeated the British in the War of 1812 - NO
I could go on but I think you folks get my drift.
"Waaaaahhhhhh!!!! "Leftists".....Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!! Bunch of conservative puss!es."
Let me guess - you're working towards a Pulitzer prize with that astute post Oishmeloish. It wouldn't surprise me if you won. After all - your Fuhrer got one from the Nobel people for his "Peace Efforts".
He reminds me of the really old guy who keeps hanging around the local Elementary school who pretends to be "just walking" his dog (the dog is usually a Poodle). Really creepy.... ughh!
