Ben Jealous needs to apologize for not getting the full story on this before making this statement. If he had seen the full video he would have seen that she admitted that she was wrong for judging the man for his race and past racial injustices, and that she did in fact help him save his farm.
Poor woman got fired for politics, nothing else. Jealous should do the right thing and see that she gets a job. Her boss at the USDA ought to hire her back, or be fired himself for not finding the full story first. He's far too political sensitive.
If a white man said the same thing, I would applaud him for learning from his mistakes and doing the right thing.

When is biggovernment.com going to print a retraction of the story, or admit that they edited the video to take out the more important parts where the woman changed her mind and attitude and ended up helping the farmer out?
I seriously doubt they or faux news will. If you have any integrity you will apologize to Shirley Sherrod and help her get her job back. She admitted she was wrong, AND changed her attitude, just as many former racists have.
