I find it hard to believe that South Boulder Creek never hit flood stage. It definitely jumped its banks behind Old Tale Road, far downstream from Eldorado Canyon. Two new channels formed behind my house!

Well done, TeamSnap! I was a little league coach for years, and it was measurably easier to communicate with my team families after I started using TeamSnap. Player availability and scheduling, group SMS and emails, ready roster information. Right from the web or a cell phone. And the customer service was really quite responsive both for minor issues and for questions and improvements queries. Seems like a good solid company!

Except that Wayne LaPierre never actually admitted that the guns were the cause of all of our problems.... Irony is completely lost on this group -- it was their decades of lobbying efforts to make semi-automatic assault-type weapons available that led to all of this!

It's hard to imagine more than $600M in federal research dollars (annually) being replaced by increased enrollment.....THAT is a hard number to say "NO" to, when that $600M does so much to support the primary mission of the University - EDUCATION.

Now...I am not opposed to legalized marijuana, I'm thrilled that CO voters have had their voices heard, and I think MJ should be legalized nation-wide. But, I support the CU system and recognize that there is a LOT at stake should they choose to follow state, rather than federal, law on MJ legality.

If they are planning for 4 kindergarten classrooms at Mapleton to ease enrollment pressure at Whittier, then where are all those kindergartners going to attend elementary school? This seems like a short-term solution to me.

And yet, nothing in the proposed rule specifically calls out camping, illegal transactions or violence. Oh yeah.....those are already illegal!
