I don't understand the point of view that the level of Mets history on display at Citi Field needs to be subdued in some way simply because they don't have as long or as celebrated a history as the team across town. It's the Mets home field - why not celebrate the history we do have? Why not have more areas dedicated to the '69 and '86 Mets and the greats that played on those teams? There should be some place for Doc to sign, if not this particular wall.
