I do mix my linens. I want to sleep on lovely softness. I enjoy dressed up bedding. Mixing and matching linens is like a beauty spot for a place I spend at least five hours. I love my bedroom. It is my garden.

I am installing shutters throughout my home. I hope to keep it cooler in the Texas heat and also warmer in the Winter months. I also wrapped my hot water heater. I have been planting plants that use less water and use soaker hoses rather than installing a sprinkler system.

We usually have some sort of family project Saturday morning. We have been having projects for three years and have worked so hard to transform our yard into a retreat. When the work is done we jump into the pool or jacuzzi and look up at the trees and sky. There is a carefree feeling and we have worked hard to achieve. We want our yard to become a garden and a tranquil place to set aside the hustle and bustle of this world. The bells would add to our theme!

Yes, I have used my China. Some of it is broken but, never mind I combine it was other pieces I love. There is such a wonderful feeling I have with others china or pottery. I am a sucker for it and combine other patterns for this cozy southern garden whimsy. I just love it on my hand carved Belgian table. Give me more!
