I think that this is proof positive that people DON'T believe what the Progressive movement is spewing every night on the news channels and TV networks that they control. When MASSACHUSETTS of all places doesn't elect another Obama-drone progressive and instead, sends someone that represents a complete 180-degree turn....then news like this doesn't surprise me and in fact pleases me to no end.

The problem is that almost the entire media "culture" is madly, passionately, and hopelessly in love with "The Chosen One". I can remember a day when the media would be impartial; when they called it down the middle, living what Fox news advertises (but doesn't deliver) "We report, you decide". It's now up to us, the common citizen, to determine what is the truth and who is telling it. I can tell you that the vast majority of the media isn't living up to this heavy, burdensome task.

What we are seeing here is not just the Democratic or the Republican way......IT'S THE POLITICIAN'S WAY!!!! They will say whatever they need to keep their cushy jobs and their lifetime health care and exorbitant pensions. This isn't jealously or anything like that. We have the words of Arlen Specter to back me up. He said that he was switching parties so that he would have a better chance of winning his upcoming election. It's not about doing what is right anymore. We really and truly do need term limits for ALL politicians: federal, state, and even local.
