Don't ask, don't tell.

Also because of my startling reflexes, stellar eyesight, and smoldering good looks I'm a pro--an IT pro.

I took drama--and "Children's Television Commercial Acting." And I played a little baseball as a kid. I practiced for the bigs by dippin' chaw. How I roll. ;-)

Just so you know how old I am: I saw Metallica open for WASP! And Cliff Burton (yes, he was still alive) git pissed when they closed the curtain on their encore. He threw his bass down, hard.

My son likes Flashpoint--you have us that, too.

Brings a whole new meaning to 99 Luftballoons, doesn't it? ;-)

Huh? Is Anne Murray Canadian? Not sure I follow. Iron Maiden, Saxon, & Def Leppard are all British bands.

By the way, I have been to Canada--the Canadian side of the falls. My dear departed grandma took my brother and I up from Erie, PA (where I'm from). As we walked back to the car, we stopped in a store for something. There in that little Canadian mart, on the bread shelf, was something I couldn't identify.

"Grandma, what's this? Is it a ballon?"

"Here, now! Put that down!"

What I didn't know at the time was that it was a condom. An unrolled one.

Thanks, Canada!

Entirely my bad--it was the "Piece of Mind" tour, not "Somewhere in Time."

And, yes, pity me--Anne Murray. Urgh!

The first concert I remember wanting to go to (not the first I was drug to--that was Anne Murray) was Iron Maiden. It was 1983, I was 14: it was glorious. I want to say it was the "Somewhere In Time" tour; with them were: Saxon, and a then as yet unknown British band (on their inaugural US tour), Def Leppard.

Interestingly enough, Iron Maiden was my first exposure to the work of G.K. Chesterton:

"O, God of earth and altar, bow down and hear our cry,
our earthly rulers falter, our people drift and die,
the walls of gold entomb us, the swords of scorn divide,
take not Thy thunder from us: take away our pride."

What can I say? We were inside of the happiest place on earth (Barnes & Noble), & sweetie said she wanted to play in the water play area. It was warm out, I had a headache coming on, and as soon as we got outside, she said "I need to go potty."

"Play first. Pee later."

"I can't hold it."

"Grr."

"Daddy! Look at me. I'm peeing. Told you."

Me, holding head. "Grr. Go play."
