Yay! I'd like to try a meal replacement in the mornings too. Will have to look into that. Diet Mt. Dew is good, especially when it's really cold. Tastes almost like regular.

It sounds like you are on the right paths. And you care about your wife, kids and others. That is really important and meaningful in and of itself! I am finding personally that without a written schedule, I have no time management skills and I find myself not making time for others, especially phone calls to mom, etc. With a written schedule, I do more productive things and schedule the time I need to for myself and others. (It wasn't always this way. Hindsight has been 20/20!)

You are MOST worth it, Steph! I read "the article" as well and it infuriated me. I couldn't believe they would even publish it, anywhere, under the Marie Claire name. It was terrible and thoughtless.

It's so tough. I worry about mine as they get older because it feels difficult now. The teenage years haven't even hit yet. From what I've read over this last year, you really get it, though. The whole dad thing and what's important. I hope things turn around and you're out of the dad-funk soon. Having kids is such a joy and such a worry - making sure they will grow up safe and happy and okay.

Oh my gosh that is hilarious! We have to try this. It took a second to figure out just what the hose was for and then it clicked and I burst out laughing. I'm still laughing. The cuts turned out good, though.

I, too, was never a country fan but slowly am coming around. I find myself leaving it on when the other channels have commercials. Sometimes I listen just to make fun of the lyrics but lately I find myself even liking the songs!

Look at you go! That's excellent. Still time to get into trouble but hopefully it flies by. I get paranoid leaving Mr. V and the kids on my Friday free days. I always wonder what the house (and sink) will look like when I get home. =)
