Meanwhile it's more mamby pamby time with Kitty. Who votes for these people time after time, I don't know anyone but maybe they're just embarrassed to admit it. Seems a lot of people hate republicans but Oregon is a blue state full of democrats...so what's the excuse for hating repubs, they don't run this town, county or state.

I keep trying to vote them out, I keep hearing just vote them out year after year, but here we are with the same inept officials. I don't know anybody who supports the current city, county, state or federal government politicians but they are like that rash you just can't get rid of. Once they get in they're here to stay.

I don't know about you but I only have so much money to live on and pay bills with after taxes. Don't know about you but I have to make due with what I get in my paycheck. Why is the government any different? Everybody needs to learn to live within their means including the City of Eugene and Lane County.

For years I've seen empty LTD buses all over town, saw one of the double buses with 1 person in it yesterday yet they want to add EMX and ruin businesses all through the pathway. I don't know what Kitty and the rest of the liberals are thinking but none of this is working for anybody who pays taxes. It's never enough, they always have their hand out wanting more. Who are these people who keep voting to keep the status quo anyway? People are fed up with all levels of government wasting our tax dollars yet someone is keeping these politicians in office.

The community is being held hostage for money. Pay more taxes or they'll let the criminals out in the street. The government needs to learn to do more with less just like the rest of us have. Nice, makes ya feel all warm and cozy doesn't it?

I'd rather see the fence then the mess they leave. Eugene has a lot of services and charities available to homeless and that's a big draw that keeps them here. The Mayor and city council needs to fix this long term issue. People continue to keep the Mayor in office yet nothing has gotten done to keep our citizens safe and free to walk the streets without harassment nor the mess they leave behind. The playground at Jefferson/Washington park has needles in the sandbox all the time. Come on Kitty, do something. Tax payers are tired of paying for clean up.

Her first mistake was contacting the administrators. If she would have just done her thing they'd have been none the wiser.

Wouldn't it be wiser for the education department to focus on reading, writing and math instead of going PC. My family background is native American and this is a waste of time and money. If they change mascots it will prove very costly for schools. The schools should decide their own mascots and DOE should work on higher graduation rates, kids ready for college or work force.

Jesus said pay Caesar what is Caesars. Churches handcuff their own hands by wanting tax free status and keeps them from speaking truth about many things lest the almighty dollar get taxed. If a church will preach the truth, pay Caesar what belongs to DC then the government has no power over them. Instead they bow to the almighty dollar instead of Jesus.
