Just having an ADD moment. My son was putting a windmill lego set together which has a crank on the back to make the windmill go. Anyways one way to get the windmills to spin in PA would be to hook up the windmills to treadmills and give jobs to the overweight people to walk on the treadmills. In that way, PA would be combating two causes global warming. Not that I advocate this policy. I am just saying.

Yes, the global warming people state that as the earth warms the ocean currents will not cycle like the normally do with the cold water current traveling south by Europe and Africa and the warm Gulf Stream flowing north by North America. The ocean current will become stagnate. This will cause temperatures to drop in Great Britain; therefore, creating some parts of the Earth to become colder while others warmer.

I am so sick of hearing the words "green", "climate change", "global warming". I roll my eyes at least 10 times a day. This is just the latest fad like a hot, new pair of jeans. When I was a teen, it was the greenhouse effect. Well, I don't know about you, but I remember the days when I would wear shorts in March in PA. While March wasn't too bad this year, I wasn't wearing shorts. It's finally going to be 70 degrees this Friday!

Yes, we need to continue to write to our representatives and let them know exactly how we feel. I have been doing a lot more of that lately. I am also for repealing the 17th amendment. I think that our U.S. senators should be elected by the state legislatures. This would ensure that the senators are obligated to the states and not lobbiest and special interest groups.

I attended a tea party in Johnstown, PA. About 250 people showed up in this small town which is pretty good. The speakers really tried to get this one message acrossed: "The tea parties are not about Obama. It is about a growing Federal government which is taking away our rights granted to us in the Constitution. The Federal government has been growing for decades." I strongly feel that the Obama administration and the Democractic majority Congress has awaken Americans. Americans are realizing that a growing federal government is not a good thing. So I do not agree with this Congresswoman's assessment about the tea parties. She needs a reality check.

I would just like a poitician that is not loyal to special interests groups, labor unions, or what have you. I want a politician who is loyal to Americans. I really think that Americans are becoming so fed up with the quid pro system that if one came along, that person would win by a landslide.
