We know you lost a dear friend. We lost a shining light, however, never fear, WeAreAndrewBreitbart and his legacy will live on forever.

My deepest sympathies to his family -- a true patriot. I always wanted to meet you, Andrew Breitbart, and thank you for your fearless work. I am in shock!

WOW! Davy Jones was always my favorite Monkee, I use to tune into The Monkees every week, head in my hands as I lay on the floor watching on our console TV. I also would walk to our local drugstore [I lived in a small town of 4,000], owned by one of the families that attended my church (remember those days? ) and buy all the teen magazines with pics of The Monkees. Thanks for sharing and what a special memory for you!

And tomorrow they meet to continue the plotting.. .http://pastebin.com/KnC4L84Y

Dear OWS family,

Two weeks ago we came together to talk about power, privilege, and
access to resources in OWS. We ate together, sang together, and began
a dialogue. We came to conclusions about intentions, goals, and
stakeholders of a wider community-wide dialogue, but it was only the
beginning. It's time for us to go deeper.

A follow-up meeting will be held:
Saturday Feb 25th
12-6pm
@ 33 W 14th Street

OWS is a movement of the 99%. Its very foundation lies in opposition
to inequality of wealth. To build the new world we all want, it is
important to examine the wealth and resources of our own movement- how
it impacts us, who has access, and what kind. Our hope is to build a
supportive environment where we can practice transparency and build
accountability in order to grow a strong and healthy movement for
all.

Past social movements have collapsed under the weight of their own
contradictions; they have failed because dynamics of privilege and
access have gone unaddressed and unchallenged. This meeting is crucial
to the success and sustainability of this movement. If we come
together to work through these issues we will be truly unstoppable.
We hope to see you there!

Love and Solidarity,

Great follow up article, Lee. You actually wrote about Marissa on your website after picking up some 'connect the dots' tips I was leaving after going thru the organizing emails. http://leestranahan.com/connecting-some-occupy-do.... Also, her arrest video needs to be revisited as it is textbook, so it seems, and could it have been coordinated with police, along Brandon's recent post on civil disobedience. Sarah Palin is the reason I became engaged in the politcal process. I just happened to tune into an AM radio talk show (which I rarely did at the time) to hear the announcement of McCain's running mate. The more I listened to Bill Cunningham rave about Sarah Palin the more fascinated I became. I attended my first rally ever when Sarah and John McCain made a stop near me, just a few days after her announcement as the VP candidate. We stood on the perimeter of the rally, along the road, and saw her standing in the stair well of the bus as it pulled in, waving to everyone. It was great. I attended 3 more rallies before the election. The buzz certainly was Sarah Palin and I have to agree, they had momentun until the financial collapse.

Does anyone remember the George Stephanopolous interview with Barack Obama during campaign season where Obama slipped and said "my Muslim faith" and George corrected? Great counter punch to the meme the left is trying to use with Santorum campaign.

Obama's agenda by snubbing the D.C. voucher program is twofold. Not only is he pandering to the teacher's union he is twisting the knife in Boehner's back. Promoting and implementing school choice and vouchers are high on the priority list for Boehner [he seated teachers and students from charter schools in the Speaker's box during the 2011 State of the Union address to drive his support] and Obama knows this.

Thanks, Lee, for demanding the retraction and calling out Current TV and all the miscreants that work or contribute to a pathetic network.

One more thing, major props to you and Brandon for going into the trenches to expose this movement and for always speaking truth.
