The Foothill Cities Blog : Postcard from Mount Baldy

Gawd that looks cold and miserable. I love the after effects when it clears, just in the middle is no fun. I found that ABS and Traction Control make driving in the snow so much easier. I wish both were around when I lived in the rust belt and saw nothing but snow/ice 5 months out of the year and had to get to school or whatever..

true, but when they have no avenue except the media and that is sealed, then what? There has to be a mechanism for letting a community know the risks they face.

yes anonymous, we know that but it doesn't change that speaking out has been quashed with threats.

I agree that is a great one and forgot about it myself. Do get it posted over at Metblogs so Markland who is authoring the Grinch of the Year post has it in the official nomination list.

Thanks for adding the total emal and the link. Plenty to sit back and think about . As an FYI I talked with Tom earlier today, he isn't running for anything...he's just retiring.

The Foothill Cities Blog : Obama is Coming, er, OOOPS... Messiah Coming to Monrovia Sunday

People seem to forget 48% of the country didn't vote for Obama because he can't walk on water, actually I think they'd like to hold him under until he stops kicking. We are a severly divided country and it will take something short of a miracle to unite us. The comments by "No Fat Added" show just how divided we are and how much ground needs to be recovered before we can move forward. "No Fat Added" why so many different names? I understand you want to come back and post here, do you think that sort of behavior somehow ingratiates yourself to any of us?

hmmmm...good question, but since the officers on MPD were forbidden to talk with the media all sources have dried up. I "may" have one with some info.
