She looks a lot older too for someone 21 or 22.
Who cares, I am sure they contacted several canadiates, when they were looking to fill the vacancy. Now if he did a phone, video or in person interview, then I would be upset.
I am right there with ya. The battleship gray has got to go.
Reading several news articles I found a few of the names that are on that short WSU list for position of head football coach. Cal offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Jim Michalczik, Alabama offensive Coordinator Jim McElwain, former Oregon coach Mike Bellotti, Former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach and University of Houston Coach Kevin Sumlin. I am thinking they're going to have to pay more than double $600k to land a big name coach. The UW coach Steve Sarkisian makes what 1.98 million a year?
Sad to see anyone lose their job even with a 600k severance payday. I wish Paul Wolff the best in whatever he ends up doing. I hope that WSU is smart about their choice for the new head coach position, as I am tired of seeing sporting teams from Washington fail season after season. A couple of guys and I were talking at work today about if Paul Wolff was fired who would replace him. Three names came up and none of them were slick Rick. One was Jim Mora former UW player and Coach, Another was Dennis Erickson and the last was former Texas Tech Coach Mike Leach. I don't know, but I hope whomever takes the job on has the skill, know-how and drive to lead the Cougars back into the level and competition they should be at and make the Apple Cup more competitive then it was this year.
I don't know about 3 or 4 games, they had 2 games where they only lost by 3 points. There were 3 to 5 games where they looked pretty descent going into the half, then got blown away in the second half. Just going by those two games that they lost by 3, then they would have been conf 4-5 and overall 6- 6. I don't know if getting a new coach is the answer for the Cougars, but if they do I hope they get someone that can really turn the program around in a positive way. I'd also like to see them get some new talent, build up the OL/DL and special teams, stay healthy and have stamina enough to play hard the entire game not just the first half.
My hat is off to the Cougs, it's great to see both WSU and UW start out 2-0. I just wish that one of the local stations would televise more teams from Washington State. It's sad when you can watch on T.V two high school teams from Florida or two no-name colleges play, but you can't watch WSU, EWU & CWU football.
Dang, the Coug's have outscored their opponents 123 to 28. Just wish they would air the game locally. What do you say Komo 4 how about a little WSU football TV coverage?
I don't see what the difference is. You have a team that was 2-10 last year beating a team that was 1-10 last year and over the past 3 seasons the Cougs are what 5-32. I think the Cougs needed the win; it's a great self confidence booster especially with the starting QB out. Great to see UW, WSU & the Hawks having a winning weekend.
What do you expect? The dog attacked it's owner, a police dog and the police officer. The cop tasered the dog to no avail, and also shot the dog once and it didn't seem to stop it. I would have used deadly force as well if I were in the police officers shoes.
