Breitbart.com : Airline industry split widens over EU carbon \'tax\' row

I understand that US airlines have to comply with US laws and until the Congress passes something that is contrary, our airlines have no option other than to comply. But I have the option of spending my vacation in the US or none European countries and that's there loss.

Breitbart.tv : Bill Clinton: 'No Country On Earth Believes Government Is The Problem'

When I saw this, I sprayed my coffee all over my monitor and then spent ten minutes trying to recover. My side hurts I was laughing so hard. Of course goverment doesn't think it's the problem. But who, pray tell, passed all the taxes, job strangling regulations, nanny laws, exempted themselves from the laws they expect others to obey, and spent their countries into oblivion? They are all like alcoholics in denial. Things will only change when politicians realize they are the problem,or when the voters conduct an intervention at the ballot box to force them into rehab.

Breitbart.com : GOP senators vote to defeat Obama\'s jobs bill

A more accurate headline would have been "Bipartisan Senate Defeats Jobs Bill". After all, when on Republican votes with the Democrats it's declared bipartisan. But when two Democrats vote with Republicans, it's Republican obstruction. In this case both Democrats and Republicans voted to defeat the bill.

Big Government : Ga. Middle School: Muslim Polygamy Is Normal, Burkas Good For Women

If the school staff and teachers didn't review the lesson before giving it to the students, it makes me wonder what else they teach without having previously reviewed the lessons. And if the staff and/or teachers did review it and gave the lesson anyone, then they have endorsed it. The claim that it was produced by the state and that they had no responsibility for what information their students are given just tells me that we don't need to spend money training teachers. All we need are untrained class attendents to hand out the State's lessons and to give students a "pass" if they bother to come to school.

Big Journalism : McGinniss’s Palin Bio Surpasses Expectations: Nastier, And More Sexist, Than Anyone Could Have Ima

Missing from these posts seems to be equal criticism for the co-conspirator: Broadway Books (Random House, Inc. / Crown Publishing Group). I find it inconceivable that legitimate publisher would be associated with such undocumented garbage--regardless of who the target might be. I scanned the book in the bookstore. Joe is not an effective writer. His style is so chaotic as to make you feel dyslexic. And what's with the left's new obsession with red and black? It's so Che Guevaraesque that I'm left wondering if they are having a nostalgia attack for the good old days when Fidel was in his glory and Marxist and Maoist were spreading revolution to every corner of the globe.

You can't legislate economic prosperity. It's based on the free market, which in turn is based on competition. Be competitive and you won't see any jobs go overseas. Our problem is that our union and other labor plus benefits are so high that we are no longer competitive (except in certain markets) in the global economy.

I'm not a union member. According to Obama's own words on this Labor Day, that makes me an un-American evil POS. I thought Labor Day was for all working Americans.
Big Journalism : ESPN Moves to Silence Golf Analyst Who Criticized Obama *UPDATED: ESPN Ignores Political Tweets of O

I'm not sure what ESPN is upset about. Obama does play more golf than Azinger. And Azinger is absolutely accurate about jobs. The government cannot create a job. It can only move jobs from the economy into government or vice versa, but it can't create a job. Only a business that makes a profit and grows can create jobs. Paul creates revenue for ESPN and ESPN uses some of the revenue to create jobs. So is telling the truth political comentary or honest reporting? I also suspect that Mr. Azinger has probably done more to lower the seas and heal the planet as well.

How did wind farms, school funding, AGW scientists, and astronomers get into this? Is your point that someone on this planet could, might, perhaps, sort of, maybe, possibly, perchance, conceivably, feasibly, imaginably be doing something else? If so, then I agree. But I believe that the question on the table is what is Google doing and why? Give it another try while staying on topic.

Breitbart.com : Huckabee: Romney should apologize for health plan

It's too late for Romney to apologize. He's had years to think about the mess MassCare is in and its cost. At one time, I was seriously considering Romney. Now however, I've soured on him. I have to assume that he approves of government run health care and would do little if anything to dismantle Obamacare. But worse, during the mid-term campaigns, Romney stayed pretty much in the shadows. He would briefly venture out into the fight, but then quickly scurry back into the shadows.Where was that leadership that the gals (Palin, Bauchman, Brewer, Haley, Martinze, Fiorina, Ingram, Malkin, Coulter, Loesch, and many countless others) were demonstrating? No, Romney is mister slick and I've about had it with slick Presidents. I'm looking at a Christie / West or West / Christie ticket to satisfy my hunger for a red meat Presidential team.

Breitbart.tv : Walker on Fake Sick Leave: State Employees Will be Terminated, Doctors Will Be Investigated

An idle threat is not a threat. I've heard Walker and Senate and House Republicans say they will cut the Democrat staffs, they could consider the collective bargaining bill in non-budget legislation, that investigations will be made into who is paying for the food and lodging of the Democrats, that doctors handing out Obamacare fake excuses might be subject to disciplinary action, that teacher better get back to work--or else, etc. What I haven't yet seen is the governor or the Republicans act on any of it. If Republicans don't make it clear that they are serious about misuse of government funds, time, false official documents, etc., then why in the world would the unions or the Democrats care what the Republican say? Democrats seem to have forgotten that they were elected to serve all of the people in their districts (liberals, conservatives, and independents); not just the unions.

Censure is only a meaningless word that has no consequence. It carries no fine. There is no employee performance report to prevent him from being promoted. Nothing is entered into his police record. He keeps his security clearances. He retains all the same perks and privileges he had before. He still gets special parking. He retains his chairmanship (at least until January). So, what exactly is the consequence of being censured? Nothing. Mr. Rangel is free to go about his business as if nothing ever happened. What's wrong with this picture? Now "felony," that's a word with consequence.
