I will always have a certain amount of respect for anyone who fought for our country. On the other hand, however, I have complete disgust for corrupt politicians, and John Murtha was neither a good nor honest man. May God rest his troubled soul.

At first, I thought President Obama was a far left wing ideologue that would probably triangulate to incrementally achieve his socialist dreams for the American people.

I now think that he may be delusional and in need of professional help. How many times in how many ways have the people said they don't want his stinking idea of government care? Yet he remains committed to ram it down our throats regardless of what we the little people, we the uneducated, we the unsophisticated, we the helpless, we the ugly masses clinging to our Bibles and guns think.

This wouldn't be such a serious problem if the Senate and House Democrats weren't running around with tin hats overdosing on the same bad batch of Kool Aid.

This country is in very serious trouble. Only we the unwashed masses will be able to set things right. You and as many friends as you to get need to vote in November.

Senator Shelby is acting in the interest of Alabama because he wants EADS to build its factory in his state. Here are a couple of things to ponder:

1. EADS has a long history of bribery and unfair practices.
2. The Airbus has a known design flaw in the tail that has caused fatal accidents
3. The design flaw prohibits the Airbus from safely performing emergency maneuvers required of a tanker.
4. The Airbus autopilot cannot be disengaged in certain cases.
5. The Airbus is too big to land on any but the largest airfields limiting the number of bases it can operate from.
6. There will be fewer EADS tankers to service the same number of tanker requirements.
7. The original proposal was improperly written to favor EADS by ignoring many Air Force operational requirements for the new tanker.
8. Awarding the contract to EADS would mean that European countries responsible for manufacturing the parts and could refuse to deliver those parts because of political disputes.
9. If EADS wins the award, then most of our tax dollars will end up in Europe.

There are many, many more reasons why this tanker dispute stinks to high heaven.

Good Lord, will this spending to save Democrat supporters, donors, unions, ACORN and every other liberal organization and contributor ever end?

Just put a gun to my freaking head and pull the tirgger. All hope is gone and the change is killing me anyway.

If only the MSM would do these kinds of fact checks routinely. I don't care who's making the claims--Republicans, Independents, Democrats, Scientists, corporations, Hollywood--we would all be better off if we knew what the facts were and could therefore make better decisions about our lives and who we elect.

I'm not sure how we connect killing babies to curing ED. Instead of sending 11 reporters to fact check Palin's book, they should fact checking politicians. AP only assigned two reporters to review the 2,000 pages of health care bills--the rumor is that they died of sticker shock before getting to page 5.

With all of their abstruse mumbo jumbo, it's sometimes difficult to understand what liberals are really saying, so let me translate for you.

The MSM provides too many votes to the Democrats to allow them to fail.

The California AG is doing is best to cover for ACORN. The AG of the United States is doing his best to restore funding to ACORN. The MSM is doing its best to pretend there is no story to report.

Thankfully for the taxpayers who are forced by Congress to fund these illegal activities, Breitbart seems to be two steps ahead of them all.

There is one more violation. Because ACORN received federal funding, it is supposed to be strictly non-partisan. This means that it should not be campaigning or support for any particular candidate and that voter registration should be party neutral.

However, ACORN is blatantly partisan in favor of Democrats. It focuses on registering Democrats. It has been photographed with Democrat campaign posters displayed in its offices. And it has direct and indirect financial ties to liberal organizations that actively support and fund Democrat candidates.

It isn't a matter of a rogue office here and there that is doing this. It is pervasive.

Is there any doubt in your mind how the MSM and the AGs would be reacting if these incidents had been committed by SarahPAC or some other conservative organization?

I agree with the article as well. If the MSM and the justice system is not going to do the their jobs, then ordinary citizens will have to take on the corrupt. I wish there were something I could to to help besides letters and phone calls to my representatives to investigate the misuse of taxpayer money.

I bet there's been a sudden run on shredders at the local office supply stores around every ACORN office in America.

I've always said that the primary difference between a liberal and a conservative is that liberals act on their emotions and conservatives want to know the facts. Ed's reaction was a quintessential example of a typical liberal reaction to a substantive question. First comes the raised voice, then the wild gesticulations, next the red herrings, and finally comes the the fork in the road where Ed begins talking about everything under the Sun except the topic being discussed.
To be honest, Ed's claim now makes me want a peer review on how the air quality is measured in LA.
