The phrase I was trying to remember last night is "expectation of privacy." Is it still illegal to videotape or record if there is no expectation of privacy?

I'm not sure about the laws in these states, but I believe this type of privacy law does not pertain to conversations that can be heard or take place in a "public" area. In at least two of the videos, children can be heard, which means others would have been able to hear the conversation. There were also people in the background on the videos that could have been within hearing distance. In the video with the Tresa (lady in the pink shirt), much of the conversation appears to have taken place outside where a video or listening device could have been used from a distance. Does anyone know more about this?
