DIG, and I disagree on quite a lot of things, but one thing he is not is economically iliterate

Yes, I voted Sinn Fein only because the DUP and UUP have too much power and are cesspools of Orange Christian fundamentalism. I have a nationalist background, went to a Catholic school, the whole works. I am an economic unionist because unlike you I actually understand economics, and the fact that currently we are better off as part of Britain. Your facts are not facts at all, but simply wild suppositions.

Yep, we used it in Armagh too. Until we learned better

Now you are just getting silly. Are likely to, are likely to, are likely to!!!!!!! That is all you have. You have no evidence for any of your positions, you are just guessing and offering wildly optimistic possible outcomes, as to what a UI could becomes.

Please identify the "facts" to which you refer

100% agree 8b. I know from experience that people with tech skills are few and far between. They are constantly being poached by competitors in my company.

SD, you seem to think I need to offer something, I do not. It is you and others who want to change things who need to offer something to get me to vote for a UI. How you address the loss of the block grant is probably one of the most important things you need to deal with. Also your theory that you are now in a majority has serious flaws. Not least of which not everyone who voted for SInn Fein or the SDLP will vote for a UI. I voted Sinn Fein last time, and would not support a UI now.

I am not ignoring it, I am simply pointing out than one example of cost saving by consolidating 2 departments that do exactly the same thing, does not prove that the NI public sector is under serious threat from further instances of the same thing. Neither is it evidence of future intentions of the UK government

No, you have given examples of how they "could" be created, not how they "will" be created.

You're "sure" there will be international support are you - well bully for you. Please show us who has committed this support to you.

A united Ireland will be able to borrow will it? Possibly so, but please show under what terms this borrowing will be provided, and from which source? It also costs money to borrow, please provided a plan for how the interest will be funded.

How will you deal with the debt burden the ROI has currently?

The outcome "could" be better paid jobs in the the medium terms, not "will" be. Please tell me which international organisations have committed to place jobs in a UI.

Finally, the main reason the NI economy is such a basket case is the lack of private sector investment, this in turn is due to the sectarian tensions that exist. Please tell me how you are going to sweep away these sectarian tensions, so that the private sector feels more comfortable investing here.

All you have are examples of what could happen, not what will happen.

To use your own words. This is a single unfounded scare story. Provide more examples of both jobs moving to GB, and now also please provide evidence that this is a statement of future intentions.
