Well. Conservatives who deny even the possibility of global warming and subscribe to goofy theories that it's a global plot to make a few people rich are made fun of yes. And rightly so. It is not a conspiracy. We simply want to protect the earth whie at the same time get off from under the thumb of arab oil. Even if GW did not exist, it still makes sense to pollute less and get off oil. So there is no losing with my position.

I said thanks for the explanation, I didn't say I agreed with you. No matter what numbers I throw at you, you won't believe that there is indeed cause to worry about the planet. And even if there wasn't, we should do everything we can to get away from dependency on oil. I hate to have to depend on Iran and Iraq etc... There aren't THOUSANDS of scientists who disagree with Gore, there are a hundred. You sound like Palin there.. But hey, thanks for the fun. I know it's completely useless to debate this stuff here. read peer reviewed papers about global warming, stop listening to Fox fearmongering.

Ok..well we'll see.. I hope your gloomy outlook is wrong and my more positive one is correct. We'll see soon i guess. And by the way, the prez saying that things are getting better sometimes helps things get better. A positive view helps a lot. Gloomy depressing attacks from the right don't help the country at all... Reagan for example was very good at that.
