Yup - I've read that too. In fact, there's an expression to describe that: "suicide Tuesday". My guess is that that's a bigger issue in frequent and/or unsupervised usage (which most ecstasy use is)

Ecstasy was actually initially developed to be used for therapy - the first uses were in couple's counseling. The nature of the drug made it possible for therapists to make breakthroughs in a single session that generally would take months to accomplish without it.

Eventually the drug somehow made its way out of the laboratories and into the club scene and was reviewed by the DEA during the "Just Say No" Reagan years. Seems despite recommendations that the drug be classified as Schedule 2, it became Schedule 1 - meaning it has no medical value & is illegal to prescribe. Guess maybe that's been overturned, or the military has different rules? :-)

I figured that was the case! Figured since you had it on your website, you were cool with it being used - I love the amount of personality that shines through in it! (but will post a replacement if you prefer)

I think the bottom line is they are all intended to be lighthearted and humorous. What's good for the goose should be good for the gander - no? Thanks for weighing in!

I get like that too. I think the key is to remember it's about being heard, not being judged. I think that shifting the perception to "this shows I care about what the blogger said" from "does the blogger care about what I say" motivates me to comment more too.
