My impression has been that you guys tend to eat healthier than we do as a general rule. I think I'll check out that site. Using ingredients that are in season, and cheap, is ideal. I have some plans brewing in my little head. I'm thinking another blog to keep track of recipes and grocery lists, etc might help with this endeavour.

I was on track for losing weigth last fall. Since deciding to try, I gained back all the weight I had lost (something like 30 lbs). Boo Hoo!

The librarian keeps correcting her when she calls it a crocodile. Personally, I think either is fine, all things considered. Maybe it's an alligator because alligators are found in North America and crocodiles are not?

I worry that there could be an issue. However, I want to live my life as though I did not have that worry, at least for the first year of trying. I know that means possibly missing opportunities to get pregnant on the first try - or the next try - or of discovering an issue that could be resolved with minor medical intervention; but, for now, I'd really like to experience the wishing, and hoping, and dreaming. We'll have plenty of time for temp taking, and OPK stick peeing, and more, if things don't work out as planned within the first year.

I am actually not interested in Taking Charge of my fertitlity right now. Not so many years ago, I was OBSESSED with fertility and conception and hanging out on the forums of multiple conception and pregnancy websites and trying EVERY trick. When I think back to those days, it was not a time of expectation and anticipation and hope and positivity. And I really value the expectation and anticipation and hope and positivity that Jason and I are sharing during this experience.

When I was married to Ed, he wore his ring all the time. At first, mine didn't fit so I wore it on a chain around my neck. Eventually, I had it resized and I wore it every day for 5 years (or so).

I agree that people feel uncomfortable listening to or reading someone venting about things without saying something "comforting" It's too bad that "comforting" things can often sound dismissive.
