I think the point brionlogan is making, is simply that our criminal/welfare/social service system is already underfunded because of budget cuts and the number of people in the system. Problems coming in from other countries simply burden it more. We all scream, "no more taxes".. His point, I would hope, isn't that these innocent children are not valuable human beings. Just that our system can't take care of our own, and if people are here illegally it adds to that burden. But we should not assume because these children "look" Hispanic, that they are not Americam citizens.

Government cloning. The campaign to make us all think alike, and act alike for fear of offending. PC BS is about right. You can't even have an opinion anymore. And take a good hard look around you. Has it made us a nicer people? I don't think so.

I so agree with hi61izq...People have some silly idea that a government buracracy is the "cure all" for the ailments of a failing society. We have lost our moral compass in this country. When the family goes, so goes the community.

Three in four days! And summer hasn't even started yet. This just makes me so very sad for all those involved. Parents, tonight might be a good time to go over water safety again with your kids. Tragic.

I loved the story a few weeks ago of the young woman, that after hearing someone pounding on her door, tapped on the window with the end of her pistol and had the cell phone to her ear. Way to be in control of a bad situation.

As tragic as this is, also think of all the tourist money that the "hard working" Mexican people are losing. We will never travel there again.

Sick to death of seeing this man's face, as well as his son's. I hope someday justice will be served.

I feel really bad for the little girl. She was probably terrified....But I would never, ever, put my 3 year old on a bus to anywhere.
