Funny ole game. This is the same Tevez who was universally slammed for his reaction to not coming off the bench and by many WH fans .. When the idea first surfaced many stated "do we need this mercenary" .. Thanks to Big sam, I think the team has re-built itself into the kind of team that is needed to get out of the division. If this rumour is true, I hope it does not jeopardize the the past 6 months work .. COYI

I too was disappointed by some of the decisions by the referee; however, I find it amazing when fans will criticize the referee for decisions against their team, but when it happens to the other "oh well, we got away with it" . How many of you actually saw the block on Upson when the play happened. I didnt, it wasnt until the half time highlights came on. As far as I am concerned, there are 22 players on the field trying to cheat so the decision goes in their favour .. Piquionne proved that.

I knew the media would hammer him, sorry about the pun. The reality is, that is what they do and most fans believe everything that comes from them. While I support Rob Green as a hammers players, if this had happened to Joe Hart would we be calling for another keeper. Seem to remember the same happening to Scott (never to be heard of again) Carson. High profile blunders in high profile games are not good. Hopefully he will get another chance from Fabio and we can put this to rest

I agree Van, living on the west coast is tough. Living and working in the outdoors with the mountains and sea, but hey someones gotta do it. Have just returned to Canada after 9 years in the UK and it is good to be home mind you always enjoyed the WC parties at the pub plus the atmosphere around the country. Good to see all the different communities around here getting behind their country and making this a month long party like the winter olympics
