Breitbart.com : IRS may seek licenses for tax preparers

Your claim that "the IRS cost .25 cents for every dollar that they bring in from our tax revenue" is laughable (unless your text is interpreted literally as one quarter of a cent for every dollar, which may be closer to the truth). I believe your misconception might have come from an argument against a proposal to use collection agencies to collect owed taxes. I did not state that the rich in this country have a better tax rate. You guessed wrong. I pay taxes.

You're right. The drudge drones have a point? What was I thinking?!?! Anyway, you almost got to the part of the article that indicites one measure by which our economy has improved: "The government said Thursday that the nation's unemployment rolls fell for the first time in 20 weeks. The Labor Department said the number of people filing for jobless benefits dropped by 15,000 to 6.7 million."

BTW, I absolutely love this sentence: "First post here by a liberal retard that can only call people names." Usually people at least put their hipocritical contradictions in different sentences.

Articles linked to by drudge tend to have a greater percentage of idiotic comments (obama is a Muslim, dril baby drill, global warming is a lie, etc.). I don't count your peak oil comments among them.

I won't program myself with your word replacement suggestions. Why did you let drudge or rush warp your brain in this way? Talk about Kool Aid. Fact is that opening up more areas in America to drilling will not help gas prices much at all and it would take many years to see the miniscule effect which would be overwhelmed by peak oil.

Wait, you would determine the need for licensing on the number of *investigations*? Do you really think that fraud among tax preparers only happens 200 times per year nationwide? The whole point is that it's very easy for tax preparers to get away with fraud currently.

No, I was replying to Havok: "ABOLISH THE IRS / FLAT SALES TAX ONLY / That would fix more problems." Eliminating progressive taxation (via a federal sales tax for example) is big with the drudge drones.

Yes, it doesn't really matter much to the drudge drones what the article is about. They'll be making false claims about Obama's religion and place of birth below soon enough.

So much for "rational discusssion". Gas prices caused the recession? That's not rational -- that's krazy. What the heck is a fascist car? BTW, Obama is in favor of American nuclear energy as long as we dispose of nuclear waste properly.

Admit it. You got here via drudge, didn't you? Anyway, why do you think high gas prices are a problem. I would think you would be in favor of prices being set by the market.

Funny thing is that the drudge drones may have a point. Obama is resonsible for helping to stabilize the American economy which, as this article points out, is increasing the price of oil. So now I'm taking bets on how long it takes them to switch over to making false claims about Obama's religion and birth.
