The problem the democrats have is that the party is now a mixture of views. In recent years they have elected a number of people who are more moderate and conservative than used to be the case. They're now seeing the impact of that, in that they can't come to agreement, even in their own party because of their own diversity.

Good point. As you said they should present "any" President.

When I was a kid, they didn't differentiate between a Republican President and a Democrat President. It was just: "The President".
