New believers are not getting the right food and older believers are being spiritually starved from shallow teachings. And boy, I can get on a soap box about the 'seeker friendly' aspect. Thanks for bringing out truths about this subject.

I also believe that at times we can express our prayers to our Lord more eloquently with tears than with words.
Yes, I remember that song, 'The Tracks of our Tears'. That is an interesting way to look at our life. What has made us cry during the time we walk this earth.
It is interesting that the shortest verse in the Bible is 'Jesus wept'. He is certainly a man of sorrows acquainted with grief.
Just another thought. Revival. I think for there to be true revival it has to start with our tears. On our faces, on the floor before our God. Repenting of our sins and literally crying for the lost souls of those around us. The Lord would surely honor such tears.
Oh, that our Lord would bring His children, including me to that type of tears. Tears that could change the world, tears that would affect eternity.
