This season's designers could take a tip from David on execution: 1. Consult with clients; 2. Draft design; 3. Select team members and delegate specific projects based on skill sets; 4. Finish the project, wow the clients, and get paid. If this season's design stars thought the kitchen challenge was too much, they may not want to be a Design Star, since these kinds of challenges happen every week! As far as 26 hours for stars to design the kitchen, that's plenty when you're organized and people don't fall apart crying and holding each other. The more mature STARS know how to work well under pressure and get the job done. Most of the designs were too ambitious, like Candace said: tile backsplashes never get finished!

I was disappointed to see Amy go; I thought Tashica made a major blunder by not completing her task in accessorizing what could have been a winning design. Amy's main problem was insecurity and a lack of organization, which could have been overcome in time and working with team members who pulled their load. If Tashica doesn't step it up, she could be the next one to go. It was a difficult challenge, but all the crying has to stop, people!

Tashica, you may feel intimidated but intimidation creates fear, which in turn creates procrastination. Go with your gut feeling, draft a strong plan, and go with it. Always allow yourself more time than necessary to execute. Next time, when given a specific task, prioritize, execute and get it done! We are rooting for you, so be encouraged, relax and give it all you've got!
