I made a point to tune in today to catch her return. I've always liked her a great deal and am glad to have her back on the air. She looks fabulous btw!

Big Government : Who Shut Off the Lights? Bring Back the Incandescent Lightbulb

When was this made, or rather when did he make this speech. Am I actually older than I feel or are my eyes tricking me again. Isn't that Tom Tancrado sitting just behind him? How'd he get there if this is a recent speech? Oh.....and I too feel certain I now have a lifetime supply of 'normal' lightbulbs! And I am continuing to buy every single time I enter the store. Ya never know, in a year or two they just might prove to be an extra source of 'income' to those who no longer have any. :)

Big Government : Historical Parallels: From Kansas-Nebraska to Obamacare

Exactly, hence my objection to it's inclusion in this 'debate' if you will. Why use a 30 year old map (as of the time being discussed) to illustrate the point? I agree with his premise, simply thought the use of this particular map to reinforce it was ill chosen.

Excellent article and good similarities shown. My only objection with your premise is the map included. Texas was annexed as a state in 1845 and therefor, in the context used, should be shown as such and not 'New Spain'. By the time period you are discussing Texas was already a state....and was a slave state at that.

Fox news is covering this story now.....we'll see if anyone else picks it up. But I won't hold my breath for that.
