Given your tag, I find your post somewhat ironic. The first amendement is all about freedom from government control, yet here you are asking for government control. The problem is people getting drunk, not the establishments. They are no more responsible for this than a gun or gun manufacturer is for somebody shooting somebody. Your attitude is exactly the problem-- the solution is much, much, much harsher consequences for drunk driving. What do you think would happen if a DWI conviction was an automatic one year in jail (no pleadin out). What if a second DWI was an automatic two years in jail? What if a third was an automatic 10 years in jail. You see where I'm going with this?

Seriously? They have to test it with the $29 case on it? Good God. CR is dead nuts right on this. I have an iPhone and I love it, but this is a very legitimate criticism and is in fact isolated to the iPhone. In over 10 years of owning various mobile phones I"ve NEVER had to worry about how I held one or been required to buy a part that would make one function properly. They made a mistake-- maybe two mistakes. Even Apple makes mistakes.

So only Landed Gentry should be allowed to vote? What about women and blacks? Can they vote? What about the unemployed? They really shouldn't be allowed to vote according to your logic. And it's not about taxes per se', it's about public policy that allows our governement to do what we ask them to do. Eyeman's initiatives are normally so shortsighted and so damaging that his actual "message" is lost. The bottom line is that he does not care because this is how he makes a living. If he really cared, the initiatives would be crafted more carefully, consitutionally, and in a less draconian fashion. If he did that, however, his six-figure income might drop because he'd have to pay somebody to help him properly draft his initiatives. That said, in that scenario I might actually vote for one of them.

This is BS. If I did what they did I'd have been fired. Period. The State Patrol has lost all credibility with me. To think I actually used to believe they were an ethical law enforcement agency. Good God. Even if they weren't going to fire them the ten day suspensions are a slap in the face to all tax payers.

Rightouse Erics, and idiotic. It does not take any kind of detective to put two and two together here, nor does it matter. They are dead, and even if they weren't under the influence do you have any idea how fast they had to be traveling to cause that kind of damage to a Navigator? Good God. You are an...

bodog360 speed does not kill. People lacking judgement who drive too fast kill. The ignorance behind the "speed kills' slogan is mind boggling. It takes the focus off the responsibilty of the drivers and puts it on the vague "speed." They died because they were driving too fast and could not control their vehicle for whatever reason. Godspeed to them regardless of whether or not they were under the influence, but lack of judgement killed them, not speed. I live in this area, know the intersection, and can tell you that the speed they would have to have been traveling to have that bump affect them is egregious. This was pure Darwinism.

Love doesn't have a damn thing to do with fidelity and marriage. Trust, honor and respect have everything to do with fidelity and marriage. Love is simply the key that starts the car, while important, it's the least important part of driving a car. Love, while important, is the least important part of having a successful marriage.
