Too many brave soldiers like this boy have died and many more will die because we are not trying to win this war, we are fighting it according to the rules the news media sets down. Until we either get out of that miserable place or start the draft again, no one should enlist in the military. Maybe then, the powers to be will either tell the news media to kiss off and fight to win, no matter how many civilians die, or get out of Afghanistan. The only reason they allow us into their country is because we give them billions in aid, for which we get nothing in return. Nothing other than our military losing their lives for nothing.
Looks like the drunken sots didn't sober up enough to read the entire measure. Even without the increase of 27 percent, the price would still be high because Washington already had the highest booze tax in the country. Just goes to show how stupid most people are. Too many people are allowed to vote but haven't got the intelligence to do it properly.
How many more kids will believe the lie that without a college degree you can't get a good job? Advice to over fifty percent of them is to skip college and get an apprenticeship or join the military and learn a skill. You will be much better off in the long run.
As weird as this story is, are they sure it happened in Miami and not Portland? This sure sounds like something the whackos in Portland would do and then brag about it.
If we get out now, maybe more weddings and birthdays won't have to be cancelled because of a war we don't want to win. Since obama has already guaranteed Afghanistan that we will be there, one way or another, for ten more years, there will be many more headlines like this one. Getting out by 2014 is nothing more than another campaign promise which he will break, although breaking this one will cost many lives.
I'm getting sick of hearing people defend the teachers and how hard they work. They make at least fifty grand a year and have fifteen weeks of paid vacation every year, plus how many half days, work days, or whatever excuse they come up with to not teach. If the job is as bad as people make out, then why are there so many people teaching? Because it is a great job with great pay and benefits and you don't have to be qualified to teach. Just paying union dues will keep you at a job. If they and the teacher's unions are doing so great, how come the United States is falling behind the rest of the world in education and our graduates are functionally illiterate after finishing high school. Our colleges had to reduce the entrance requirements for freshmen because they were so dumb they couldn't pass the tests. Now, tell me again, how tough it is to be a teacher. Just as much to blame are the stupidest voters in the world. They keep passing bonds and levies and our students keep getting dumber and our schools more worthless.
I'm glad he finally has had justice served, but, now it's time to get a life and a job. Get over the jock attitude and become a member of the real world. I realize that he probably didn't get an education because of his athletic skills, like most pro athletes, so now he has nothing to fall back on. Of course his friends and family are licking their lips at the thought of him making a fortune playing football. I wish him the best of luck, but watch out for the vultures which are already gathering around him.
These two are complete idiots. Anyone who wants to be in a combat situation, whether it is a man or woman is completely nuts. Being ordered into it is one thing, wanting to be in it is another. Yes, if they are that stupid, then put them in an all woman unit and let them go into combat. Just don't put them into a situation where their actions may cause others to die. I'm sure the politically correct dumbos will consider anything even remotely connected to combat as heroic and make a big deal out of nothing. No wonder this country is rapidly becoming the laughing stock of the entire world.
With so many people hooked on cell phones, even though it shows that they don't have a worthwhile life, it will only get worse. I don't have any problems since I have a great life without a cellphone. Once they find a way to defeat one type of spam or other annoying problem, the spammers will come up with another, because they are smarter than the cell phone users and companies.
Trying to come up with a way to make some bucks to pay off the lawsuits that have been filed against them.
