This is where the $7B will go. Trust me. It's the same game they played to make sure ACORN had the necessary funding to do their dirty deeds not only at our expense but with our own money. It's obvious these dollars will go toward expanding Public Allies organizations across the US using these dollars to achieve the goal. This is MO's baby. A little ditty some of you may be unaware of is that some large corporations adopt the First Lady's favorite charities. For example, P & G put about a $1m+ into starting chapters in Cincinnati and elsewhere for Nancy Reagan's - Just Say No Club program; Hillary Clinton's - Children's Defense Fund; Laura Bush - her reading program (can't remember the name). My point is this, P & G types see this type of charitable giving as a means to cozy up to the FL. Look to see if P & G is working w/MO on Public Allies. If so, then there are more corps that buy this type of access out there which means they too will benefit, greatly i.e., volunteer workforce.

USArmyMom - I appreciate your zeal, but must confess I don't care for your use of the "n" word by anybody b or w. All it does is inflame and honestly has no place in blog comments here at BG. It's wimpy wrist liberal "teachers" are the majority rather than the minority of the professionals at our campuses. I was a student who went back to finish my BA when I was 32. Let me assure you, these lillied white yahoos could never stand up to a class full of adults with real life experience. I challenged the professors all of the time and some enjoyed it while others took offense to it. The students always appreciated it. What I took away from my collegiate experience was this - few of the professors who earned tenure had any experience outside of the walls of education. They are the most pampered of all society, and IMHO, tenure needs to be removed in all state university's. It would save us mere mortals a ton of $$$ by simply taking such a bold policy act.
