It's strictly a thing 20 something thing to do. At that age they are too dumb to know any better.
I would watch it, simply because many times foreign media covers news that the media herd in America does not cover.
Every day, millions of Americans come home, tired, and some dirty and wore out from a day of work. They were not insulted by Romney's 47% comment nor his recap of his loss the other day, remarking on how Obama's gifts to constituents cost him. I think he was right to call them out. It shouldn't be done every day, but we all know Obama bought that election, starting with Ohio and Michigan using the auto bailouts. Call a spade a spade. Remember also, this was in a call to campaign donors, who did have a right to an explanation.
I disagree. He didn't need to go out of his way to help Obama. Let's face it, Democrats play harder than Republicans. Do you remember any Democrats in Louisiana helping Bush. Nope.
Actually, the hurricane story tends to freeze the race in place. Even if Obama tried to attack the Libyans or some other stunt, people would still be more worried about the storm and its aftermath.
So how do the Mourdock types propose we stop the woman from aborting the rapist's baby? Isn't that the bottom line.
What is the point of a politician pontificating on this extremely dangerous subject? I don't understand what the end game is.
If you go back to the earlier drop in Romney's polling, it started at about the time Akin made his disastrous gaffe. Luckily, there is no quotable term like"legitimate rape" from the gaffe. Of course, if the gaffe loses us 5000 votes in each state, we are in trouble. All campaigns are national. I wish our social conservative allies would remember that.
It doesn't have to derail an entire campaign, it only has to cost him .5% to lose in a close election.
Romney will have to issue the 50 state exemption as promised. The dems will hold the senate 51-49 most likely.
Mike, I'm also very suspicious of these defeatists. My entire attitude is based on results. If the result of an article or post helps Obama, I get suspicious. These guys are trying to spread defeatism. All candidates have strengths and weaknesses.
