I am glad to hear you say it is mandatory for you to go. It is for me. I cannot look at my 11 year old one day and say to him that I did not do everything in my power to fight for his freedom. I have played it over in my head! What would be a good excuse? IF his freedoms are all taken away, I want him to know I did everything humanly impossible to fight for it. Thank you Floridagal. I wrote MY senator and got a blasted form letter 6 times that says he is in favor of Cap and Trade. UGH That would be Senator BILL NELSON.(D-FL) He needs to GO!

I am interested in cap-and-trade programs because they would let the market, not the government, dictate how to lower harmful emissions. I believe that we have the technology and ability to meet the challenge of climate change in a way that will provide new economic opportunities and make us more competitive internationally while protecting consumers from high energy prices and breaking our dependence on oil.

I had an idea this morning. Glenn's show really got me re-inspired last night. How about if we do what is suggested by regulationpar AND we also start acknowledging the few that are stepping up. I can think of 3 right now that are stepping up. MICHELLE BACHMAN is stepping up for ACORN. Sen. GRASSLEY is stepping up for Walpin (fired IG).......the Governor of SC (ugh, can't think of his name just this second) is stepping up for South Carolina and was trying to turn down the stimulus money. How about we bombard them with Thank You notes of encouragement to put some wind beneath their sails???? Everyone EVERYONE wants a pat on the back for doing a good job. Lets encourage the few that are stepping up? K?
