Wow. It's not often you see such a glowing (public) blog post when someone moves on to another job. Kudos to you, David (& R6/SF.com), for being human. I hear that David B. Thomas guy is pretty sharp too. Taco Bell. Pizza Hut. Combo. Best of luck to everyone involved. Happy to call you friends.

Greg Cangialosi - The Trend Junkie: Marketing, Technology, New Media, Entrepreneurship : The Truth About Sales

Chris: I agree with you 100%. Everyone IS in Sales. I think what Greg was trying to say, "Sales isn’t for everyone." really just means that not everyone is cut out for it. Yes, we all do it whether or not we choose to, but... DJ Waldow Director of Community, Blue Sky Factory @djwaldow

Greg Cangialosi - The Trend Junkie: Marketing, Technology, New Media, Entrepreneurship : The Truth About Sales

Greg: Somehow I just deleted my comment! Oh well. I'll keep it simple... You know that I'm a believer in "being there before the sale." Heck - Amber and I co-hosted a webinar about that very topic...inspired by you! #3 also resonates with me, "People buy from people (and brands) they trust. Be one of those people & brands." I'd much rather do business with a person I trust that has an above average product and kick ass client/customer support than a company with the "best" product and so-so support. People. Always. Keep blogging! DJ Waldow Director of Community, Blue Sky Factory @djwaldow

Chad - A bit late to the party here, but wanted to stop by and thank you for including Blue Sky Factory (BSF) in your post. I'm not sure I'd classify us as an "email automation service" (we do so much more! ha ha) but I'll take it! Thanks again.
Greg Cangialosi - The Trend Junkie: Marketing, Technology, New Media, Entrepreneurship : The Marketers "New Normal" - A Manifesto

Greg: Always pumped when you publish a fresh post! Great stuff. I'd love to see this re-purposed over on the BSF blog. Without sounding too cheesy, it's thinking like this (in your post above) that get me juiced about working at Blue Sky Factory. Looking forward to kicking (some more) ass in 2010!
Greg Cangialosi - The Trend Junkie: Marketing, Technology, New Media, Entrepreneurship : Trust Agents: There Are No Shortcuts to Real Relationships

Greg - You already know this, but one of the main reasons I decided to make the move to Blue Sky Factory was because of this - Trust. Relationships. Face to Face. Your leadership, presence and engagement in "the community" is critical to continued personal and professional success at Blue Sky Factory. Looking forward to learning from you and the community, while helping to grow BSF. Let's do this. Rock on... DJ Waldow Director of Community, Blue Sky Factory @djwaldow

Greg Cangialosi - The Trend Junkie: Marketing, Technology, New Media, Entrepreneurship : 10 Tips to Achieving Travel Zen

Very timely post, Greg. I've been in Chicago the past few days for OMS and realized that I could have used this PRIOR to my trip. Excellent reminders. I tend to do very well with some (1, 2, 5, 10) but not so well with the others. Pace myself? Ha! If you've figured out how to actually do that, please share. I'll add a few: #11 - Make time to speak with your significant other (or another loved one). #12 - Learn a bit about the city you are traveling to. Besides just the restaurants, read up on some of the culture, the history... Thanks for the list! DJ Waldow @djwaldow
